Sri Lankan New Year Festival 2024

Sri Lankan New Year Festival 2024 will be held on Saturday, April 20th, starting from 12:30 pm onwards at the Doug Lindsay Reserve in Creswick. As per tradition, we will commence with the formalities of welcoming our guests, Lighting of the Oil lamp, Boiling Milk ceremony, and the Avurudhu Kavili Table. Following these rituals, many entertaining activities and games will be suitable for all age groups throughout the afternoon. Tea, coffee, and soft drinks will be readily available during the event. The festivities will culminate in a delectable dinner accompanied by live music continuing into the night.
